Wide open tee box area but rough for 150yds. A reasonable drive will see your ball clear the trees and ditch (yes another one). Beware, the fairway is uphill & a wicked left to right slope and you could see your ball travel to the right and be hard to find. Approach the green towards the left, this will take advantage of the natural slope of the green and surrounds.

Finish the first half with a challenging par 4. Tree lined on both sides a long drive could see you in trouble in another of those ditches!. A well placed drive offers you an inviting second to the green. Definitely a shot to go for. Use the banking on the left of the green to assist the travel line.

Another ditch perfectly placed on this hole. Running at an angle the choice is drive to right to ensure clearing the ditch but big trees lurk. Drive to the left where the ditch is further away. For many the ditch seems to gobble up your ball if you take this route. Sometimes pin placement makes putting a real challenge on the tiered green.

Mens & Ladies tees are separate. Ladies secluded tee box offers a reasonable drive up hill, over brook to the safety of the fairway. Men are placed 60 yards further back to the right. Drive right and the ball is lost. Go dead straight and trees will make location difficult. Shooting to the green beware of bunkers to both sides, overshoot and heavy grass will test the best.
