These are a good way to start becoming familiar with requirements. These are available from the CONGU website at - http://www.congu.co.uk/quick-guides/
ENTERING COMPETITIONS WHEN THE PRO SHOP IS SHUT - 28 March 2017
To conform with CONGU rules players are required to sign in before playing in a competition. To meet with this requirement, players must therefore sign in on the entry sheet and pay the entry fee before commencing their round. Where this is not possible, because for example the pro shop is closed, entry should be made by email or message to firstname.lastname@example.org or 07948376168. The email or message should confirm who is playing and whether entry is to the competition or competition and sweep. Upon completion of the round the entry sheet should be signed and the appropriate entry payemt made.
SUPPLEMENTARY SCORES - 15 March 2017
Players unable to play regularly in competitions may return supplementary scores. Up to 10 per year may be returned, with no more than 1 per week. Supplementary cards will not be accepted on days when competitions are running. Players must signal their intention to return a card before commencing play - this can be done by simply texting or emailing the Secretary – email@example.com 07948376168 - or registering your intention with another Committee member before play. A score card must be returned after play with the tees played from indicated. Handicaps can be adjusted up or down as a result.
